New paper published

The paper “China’s “Soft Power” and its influence on Editorial Agendas in South Africa,” authored by the principal investigator of the project, professor Herman Wasserman, has been accepted for publication by the Chinese Journal of Communications, edited at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. The paper is a first attempt at understanding the impact of China’s soft power strategies at the individual level, focusing on journalists in South Africa. The paper will form part of a special issue of the journal addressing media relations between China and Africa.
